Young Triathletes
Geronimo Tristars is East Dorset's only Junior Triathlon Club for youngsters between the age of 8 - 16. Geronimo Tristars are sponsored by Primera Bournemouth.
The club was established in July 2004 to provide the opportunity for youngsters to participate in the sport of Triathlon in a safe, friendly and fun environment. All coaches are CRB checked. In 2006 Geronimo Tristars achieved Club Mark Accreditation.
Triathlon consists of swimming, cycling and running. Duathlon is a run, cycle and run, and Aquathlon is a swim and run. There are many events for Tristars (8 - 14) and distances vary depending on ages. There is a South West Series which we will be entering in 2007.
For those who have already tried the sport there is an opportunity to improve and if you haven't tried it out yet, why not give it a go? Geronimo Tristars has three qualified coaches and is affiliated to the Governing Body, British Triathlon.
The aim of Geronimo Tristars is to provide an opportunity for young people to take part in and enjoy Triathlon, Duathlon and Aquathlon activities in East Dorset. The club provides equal opportunities of access and financial hardship will not exclude participation. All abilities are catered for providing members are interested in pursuing these multi disciplined activities.
The annual membership is free. Some of the benefits of belonging to the club are -:

It is recognized that some members may wish to do some of their training independently from the club and this does not cause a problem.
